The first is the Pungo 100. This is one of the easiest kayaks to manage and is far and away our best selling recreational kayak. It is suitable for all levels of kayakers, especially women and children. It has a multi-chined and durable hull and is speedy, but at the same time stable and it tracks in a perfectly straight line. The cockpit has lots of space to maneuver, is easy to enter and exit and it is exceptionally comfortable. This boat has storage areas in both the stern and bow and has deck rigging. The SlideLock Footbrace System is easily adjustable, as is back height and the angle of the thigh supports. The hull of the Pungo 100 is made with Gen2 polyethylene, while the molded seat is of high-density foam.
The second on our list is the Pungo 120. This kayak is also extremely comfortable, stable, fast and is very easy to handle and is suitable for all levels of paddlers. A very convenient feature of this boat is that it has a dash for waterproof storage and a netting bag for items which can get wet. This ultra-comfortable kayak features lots of storage in the stern bulkhead. The seating in this model is the same Phase3 system as in the 100, as is the SlideLock Foot Brace System, but this boat has extra padding for the thighs and knees.
Pungo’s 120 Ultralight kayak is manufactured with a combination of durable plastic and composites, making it very fast yet easy to maneuver. This model has a multi-chined hull, making it extra stable. It features the same super comfortable Phase3 molded seat and SlideLock Footbrace System as in the previous models discussed, but only has deck rigging for storage. With its shiny finish, this is a great-looking boat.
The last of the range under discussion is the Pungo 140. This model is far and away the fastest kayak in our range, but is just as stable and comfortable as their cousins. This boat has loads of storage in the bulkhead and the bow, as well as a waterproof console. Again, this Pungo Kayak has the same Phase3 seat arrangement, SlideLock Foot Brace System and deck rigging as the other models reviewed.
